#MusicBOX - 'Gypsy Jazz guitar Dr. Who Theme Music

Here's a pretty fun cover of Dr. Who's main theme at the guitar, performed by :

Now that's a funky way to start the day~
He went a bit freestyle at the end, but it's pretty cool nonetheless.

Darn' that bloody theme song is so catchy!

MiscMusic - "Hey Pachuco"

Sometimes, the afternoon, late in the week, you know what you need to take your mind off things for a sec?
Some Jazz that swings!

Here, enjoy this awesome interpretation of Hey Pachuco by Royal Crown Revue!
Movie fans will probably recognize this song "Stanley Ipkiss" in that crazy cartoony flick :P

Here's some trivia that a guy posted in the comments, which I find fitting:

For those asking, Royal Crown Revue are a swing band who are often credited with starting the swing revival in the early 90's. the drummers name is "bam bam" Danny Glass and you are all correct, he is damn amazing. If you like these guys, also check out Big bad Voodoo Daddy, Bill elliot Swing Orchestra, Cherry Poppin' daddies, Brian Setzer and steve lucky and the rhumba bums. Also for those new to swing, check out the "swing this, baby!" compilation album. excellent place to start.

Animations - Jazz

Today I discovered we could post Flash animation on blogspot!

So here's an oldie but a goodie.
Music. Festival. Jazz. And school assignment!
This animation was an old project from waaay back when I was at school (the "art school" that followed the "school school")

We had this storyboard...

...to turn into an actual animated "trailer" for a local jazz festival.
The Montreux Jazz Festival (its in Switzerland).

This music I used here is a short cue taken of "King Curtis & Al Caiola-Guitar Boogie Shuffle", one of the best Sax solo I've ever heard :'3

The festival it represents actually exists! it's supposed to look like a real flash trailer! a funny one 3:°B

Enjoy and have fun ;)

"Animation" done by me, as an exercise. And I say "animation" but it's pretty simple, lots of animation loops and poorly done. It was just a quick rush job for fun.

Now that I know I can upload these, I might put up some more.
'Haven't done any animation in ages btw..
