#MusicBOX - Scooby Doo Where are you - rock!

While I am away, here's a pretty kickass rock take on the Scooby-Doo theme.
It's from whom I posted a cover of Dr. Who from recently.

Enjoy, have fun~

Brilliant stuff, man!

#FanFilm Friday - VOLTRON: The End

For today's FanFilm Friday post, here's something pretty fun!

It's a short Voltron fanfilm. Directed by Alex Albrecht and it starts none other than Timothy Omundson (aka Carlton Lassiter from Psych!!).
"When a man regains consciousness in a Voltron battle lion after an "accident" he has to decide does he live a few more minutes or try to tell the world what happened... the end is only the beginning."
Check this out:

The only sad thing is that it's only 4 minutes and already looks this badass and professional (and we won't ever be getting more - apart if Hollywood want to someday screw this up with a Michael Bay-like adaptation...).
-sigh-

#Design - Mr Nutz 2 cartmodd custom cover art

This one's my latest cover work design.

It was made for a cartmodd of the unreleased game - which a prototype's been circulating over the web recently.
A buddy of mine worked the modded cartridge, while I did the cover art + sticker + manual.

I even took the time to redo the whole logo under Illustrator :P

Please! Do not ask for these! This was a personal job, not outsourcing the work to other people. If you want me to work out something for you, I will do so for money only.

#FanFilm Friday - Paper Prometheus trailer

Some good ol' fashioned creativity to kick off the day!~

Here's a recreation of Ridley Scott's Prometheus trailer with paper dolls!

I dunno for you but I found this way creepier and more frightening than the actual movie!
Bringing it closer to Alien's horror atmosphere.

#Randomz - Star Wars as a "telenovela"

Watch this awesome fan recut of Empire Strikes Back as Galaxy of Passion!

Star Wars might be already full of characters drama and whatnot, but you never saw Han Solo under this light before!

You'll never see this movie in the same way again!~

#MarioPAINT - Under The Sea

Somethings, I like to check out for random songs remade under the musical game Mario Paint.

Today's, let's share that on my blog, with this awesome rendition of Disney's Little Mermaid's "Under The Sea"!

#MusicBOX - Doctor Who Theme Rock Mix Extended

This is without a doubt my favorite take on the Doctor Who Theme.
This guy, Believethelie2004, also has another more recent take on this theme on his youtube channel, though I prefer the following one:

It's a pretty catchy memorable theme to begin with, but I just love this rockin' cover!

Here's a pretty fun cover of Dr. Who's main theme at the guitar, performed by :

Now that's a funky way to start the day~
He went a bit freestyle at the end, but it's pretty cool nonetheless.

Darn' that bloody theme song is so catchy!

#FanFilm Friday - "20th anniversary"

For today's #FanFilm Friday post, here's something very special.
Easily the best 3D/CGi animation I've ever seen, and it's not even an actual movie!

From fans to fans.

Enjoy:

Gorgeous animation and very video!
Loved the pacing, and fun atmosphere specially.

This hommage to Dave Stevens was realized by "John Banana".
It was presented for last year's 20th anniversary off The Rocketeer. (about a ~year ago more or less)

This video's been getting a lot of praise from professional and/or fans of Dave.
"I laughed, I cried. Dave would have loved this wonderful hommage that totally captures the warmth, action and humor of his creation. Thank you for making this!"
William Stout - williamstout.com/
Dave would have been impressed. It should be a televison series!
Paul De Meo - Rocketeer movie co-writer & co-screenwriter
I was fairly close with Dave (we worked together on a number of projects) and I know he would have dug this...
Scott Shaw
This is some professional-quality animation. I doubt an actual series/movie would hold a candle to this!

#Fanmade - Disassembled by Junaid Chundrigar

I dunno for you, but I'm still in an Avengers mood!

Here's some pretty awesome animation work by Junaid Chundrigar, featuring the Avengers (as well as some Spider-Man, and Fantastic Four too).
The guy's got a very good level of quality, this is some professional animation!
What a Ren & Stimpy-like [adult swim] take on these Marvel characters would look like, no doubt.

Being isn't always sun and glory. There's also those odd lousy days...

#FanFilm Friday - "The Art of the Instakill"

Here's a video for the day!

Have you ever wondered how a fight between Halo, Mass Effect, Battlefield, Modern Warfare and many more would look like?
Excuse me, but was that the sound of your eyebrow, rising up?
Then I guess you will enjoy this following video.

Check this out, while several various random characters stab each other in the guts!

A bunch of different shooters duck it out, so we can finally answer this question: Who's the best at "instakills"?
(oh, and warning! several stabbing involved in the above video!)

#MusicBOX - Parks & Recreation on the accordion

Music time!

Love this guy's take on Parks & Recreation's opening theme!

#CollegeHumor - "Animation: Too Many Avengers"

With the Avengers out (I should really take the time to watch it....soon....), here's a pretty awesome animated parody from CollegeHumor:

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's how the general public's starting to feel, with all these superheroes around each other, teaming up.
They seem to be loving Avengers - for now. But you might see some eyebrows rising if there will ever be an Avengers 2 some day...

#MusicBOX - "Parks and Recreation" acoustic cover

This guy, eltongorgonzola on youtube, did a pretty sweet acoustic guitar cover of the Parks and Rec' theme song!

I'm glad the show's back^^

FanRemake - MEGAMAN 2 in HD

Remember Castlevania 1's intro "fan remake" in HD?
Well, the same guy uploaded various new ones more recently, including Earthdound, Starfox and Double Dragon!

Here's my favorite one:

It's Lindsey Stirling, who has quite an impressive musical youtube channel, playing a Zelda Medley!
Oh, and cosplaying a girl!Link.
Check it out, it's magical!
