#Randomz - Star Wars as a "telenovela"

Watch this awesome fan recut of Empire Strikes Back as Galaxy of Passion!

Star Wars might be already full of characters drama and whatnot, but you never saw Han Solo under this light before!

You'll never see this movie in the same way again!~

#E3 NEWS! Bounty Hunters and #StarWars - again!

Well, this one's certainly looking nice!
LucasArts just finally revealed the long rumored new Star Wars game... and it's mostly what people expected, and then some!

It's called Star Wars 1313 and seems to be an all-new original SW game.
It will be M-Rated (!) and will have the player in the role of a mysterious random new bounty hunter.

It seems to draw a bit from next gen-current games and from the ol' Star Wars: Bounty Hunter too. But will have a new random merc instead of Bobba/Jango Fett this time around.
(so this is the closest will get of that sequel I always dreamt of!...)

It looks gorgeous and people are thinking it might end up as a next-gen title instead!

The version they showed at E3 was actually running on a PC. It is sort of reminiscent of that long awaited Prey 2 game from Bethesda.

Check out the official reveal trailer:

Nice!
Though doesn't show much...so here's some in-game combat!

And some more gameplay footage!

Badass!
Loving it so far!

A lil' short film called:

And me expecting an actual Star Wars-version of P+R's opening at first... this is so much better!! XD

George Takei is the Broker of Star Peace

Here:
"Icons of Star Trek and Star Wars recently took to the internet arguing that their franchise reigned supreme. When things got personal, George Takei--the only actor who has worked in both--stepped in to broker the peace by identifying a mutual threat."

George Takei  uniting nerds from both ends of the scifi spectrum under one banner, facing one common enemy... Twilight!!

He sure puts the youtube channel of his theatrical troupe, Allegiance, to good use :P

Drawing - On The 12th Day Of Christmas

...On the twelfth day of Christmas...

Aayla Secura from the Star Wars Republic comics!
Tried to keep most of her original costume design intact, but I guess that's the kinda thing that would show up better in color...

Deleted Scenes - Star Wars audition tapes

Before Star Wars was synonymous with Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford (amongst others) a bunch of other actors auditioned for the role for Han Solo.

A lot of these guys have since then become pretty famous and went on to play various other iconic characters, but back then they were all in competition for the role of Han.
Can you imagine what the SW movies would have been like with someone else than Ford in this particular role? (or what would have become of him, Lucas and Spielberg wouldn't have picked him up for Indiana Jones after that!)
The year was 1976.
A cult movie was getting ready to shoot - a movie which would change generations of movie goers, but also the way to conceive feature films, from the way to use marketing, with a wide range of inspired products, surfing on the recent baby-boom and the way to promote and finance movies (to this very day).

Various men auditioned for the role of Chewbacca's best buddy, Han Solo.
From Sylvester Stallone (which he confirmed in a recent Expandable interview) who would go on to star in the Rocky series a short while after that, but also Christopher Walken, Kurt Russell, Nick Nolte, Jack Nicholson, Al Pacino, Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, Perry King, Bill Murray, John Travolta and even Robert De Niro!
Could you imagine that? One of those guys as Han Solo?

A bunch of audition tapes found there way on youtube nowadays.
Here's some of them people were able to find:

But even...

Are you glad they went for this guy...?

Ads - Currys PCWorld: Star Wars ads

Like last year, it's winter so Currys PCWorld released some new Star Wars themed ads once again.
(click here for last year's ad - pictured above too)

Only...
This year they made a whole darn' Star Wars themed campaign instead!
Here's all of them on a single blog post:

Chewbacca Makeover -

Vader's Visit -

R2D2 Error -

R2D2 & Hetty Hoover -

Chewbacca Hug -

And that is all~

What did we learn from these?
Star Wars and an electronic store do make a great synergy together.
Their employees are trained by the evil Empire.
And their computer have bugs and an can easily short circuit.

Star Wars NEWS! A Sith returns...

Oh ho...
Remember this guy?

That's right!
He's "back"! °__°

At first I didn't like much the idea but...
The decision to continue Darth Maul’s story was something that came directly from George. We all agreed that his return needed to be unique, unexpected and revenge filled. We don’t know what his outcome will be, and as a fan - that’s exciting.
Alright, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt...

Here's the trailer..

So? You guys happy to see him back or not?
He was sort of hinted, what with his brother appearance earlier.

Darth Maul did actually already return in the expanded universe's stories taking place farther ahead. Be it as a force-ghost in later stories or even with an half cyborg body in Star Wars: Visionaries.

Oh, to be...(Darth Vader)

Here's a fun video/song featuring Ryan Cartwright (from SyFy's Alphas) wondering about what it's like to be "Darth Vader"~

Oh man...it's weird listening to his real British accent :P
(I mean, I'm used to seeing him not using it, that's all!)

Ad - Star Wars Blu-ray/Stand Up To Cancer -thingie

Ha!...That was...err... "special".

"I guess they got a bunch of people together to try and get some money for cancer by telling them to pretend to be Star Wars characters...."
'nuff said!

Robot Chicken - Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II ad

Here's a very funny little ad for the video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II by Seth Green and his crew at Stupid Monkey:

...and if you've never seen Robot Chicken, now's as good time as any to start doing so.
Robot Chicken is an anthology kinda parody show, featuring various parody segments of pop culture in stop-motion. And stop-motion's such an interesting and fantastic way to do animation!

STAR WARS - All 3 original movies, AT THE SAME TIME!!

Here's....something unusual for today.

It's all 3 Star Wars movies... playing simultaneously, side by side! °___°

I wouldn't recommend watching this all the way through, but skipping bits and checking out some scenes...it's funny to notice how pwerfectly synchro some moments are mirrored from a movie to another.
I specially love the opening of both A New Hope and Return of the Jedi, how perfectly synchronized they are.

Neat find! Check it out:

Now, can someone make the same with all 10 Friday the 13th/Jason Voorhees movies? XD
