More Adam Hauck (we're not gay)

In a word: tireslide. Saw this edit on the blackmarketbikes website. I thought it was sweet. Team Robot approved.

Sir Adam

Team Robot gives Adam Hauck the TR seal of approval. He drives a GTI, kills it on 2 wheels, and doesn't ride like the East Coast hacks that surround him. Team Robot even had the opportunity to build the jumps that almost killed him at the Whambam indoor contest.

Fortunately Team Robot failed at destroying his weak human organism, because recently he became one of the few humans to successfully win at life:

I left out an important detail:

My bad.

Hurty Paw

So, I broke my wrist again, making this the fourth time. That's three times too many.

Anyway, the Doc I've been going to, an Orthopedic Sports Medicine Specialist, told me three times in a row to just splint it, and it should be okay. Clearly, it was not. I knew, after the fourth break, that it was time to change.

So change I did. Now I'm seeing the Northwest's leading Orthopedic wrist and hand specialist, Bob Ray from Ebay.info. His proprietary wrist healing techniques were getting so popular, he had to publish several excellent and informative Youtube videos to help people like me:

I'm now taking "this stuff," at just 99 cents per bid! What a deal! Thanks Bob!

Thanks to all the people who called to see how my hurty paw was doing. You guys rule. Healing, here I come!!

Big jumps are awesome

I was stoked. This kid looks like he's twelve. Check the head snap at the end.

Ultimate dirt jumping technology

Truly, the pinnacle. Do you remember this bike? Rearward weight bias? Love it or hate it, at least his bike has proper headtube flanges and tapers.

Chris Duncan clothing as well?

Little Caesar's

Another solid $5.00 option.

Eat fresh, bitches

So, in case you live under a rock, ALL subs (except the $9.00 ones) are FIVE BUCKS at Subway as of today. $5.00 Chicken Bacon Ranch? Booyah. Yes, this is a big deal.

The Baaron's girlfriend Terisa happens to work at Subway, and she is ready to shoot everyone. This one is for her:

I did a drawing of Jared to commemorate this historic day:

Street/Tonic/Tucks

Went on a street ride with Landon yesterday. It was so much fun. ACTUAL RIDING PICTURES WERE TAKEN!!! Not by us of course, we're not getting too radical here. Cory took some "artistic" shots with his haggard, barely functional Canon, and they are rad.

Anytime this many Tonics are in one place, it's gonna be a good time.

Streetridebot and Cory took us to the single coolest street feature I've ridden in a while. It was a gigantic bank to bank gap, with a big bank to drop into and pump as you pedal your balls off. It felt like a skatepark. It was amazing. It was a blast.

Blast.

Cory used to have a pumptrack in the backyard of his old house. He moved, but don't worry, he still has beer.

In other cycling news, Liquid-Dirt had a post on Greg hill tucks. I was stoked, because the only thing I love more than jumping bikes, is tucking bikes while jumping. There was a Greg Hill thing on Ridemonkey, and Landon put his hat in the ring with this classic shot:

Thank you to the kind people that ran that failing indoor skatepark, and let us have so much fun there.

Tucks makes you feel that much higher in the air. This was my best attempt at the Helter Belter last summer:

Basically, Tonic is the coolest bike company ever, and Landon rules. Helter Belter was legit.

Billiards Domino Pool Table World Champion

An actual sport.

P.S. we rode street today with Landon, and it was rad. As usual, we don't have riding photos. Trust me, though, it was fun.

On a trike?

Truly unbelievable... we've started looking into the sponsorship opportunities for extreme big wheeling. We could make millions... team robot is going downhilling tomorrow... time to go fast

8" bike for Rennie this year? We'll see. P-Funk points out that he rode an 8 inch SGS before '03. Things to ponder...
