Drawings - SF-doodles #01

The results of the latest TWITTER drawing session!

This time covering Street Fighters characters (and a guest!).
Q, Dudley, Makoto and Ibuki from SF3, Blanka from SF2, Juri from SF4 and Q-Bee from Darkstalkers, just because!
You can see my preference for SF3 :P
Hey, it's the SF series I spent more time on afterall. (<3 Dreamcast Forever!)

Remember, follow me on Twitter to avoid missing one of those!

Gamin' NEWS! MVC3 final characters reveal!

And finally, the last additions to Marvel Vs. Capcom 3's roster has been announced at last!

Badass official art to kick off the news post~

I knew it.
You knew it.
We knew it.
Everybody knew it.
But Capcom kept denying it.
At last, after a lot of teasing, hints and leaked info it's official!

And by "lot" I means LOTS of leaked material since last year.

The two last characters to join the cast are:
- Sentinel, one of those X-Men hunting Marvel robots. A returning character in fact from MVC2.
- Lei Lei/Hsien Ko from Capcom's Darkstalkers series. Yum! :'3

One word on these new additions? Awesome! Both are great!

Here's some screens in the meantime:

And the brand new trailers showcasing both newcomers:

My first impression as a long time Vs. Series fan?
Hsien Ko looks totally awesome! Just as bizarra and brutal as she originally was.
Sentinel looks...slower than last time...? Maybe to balance the gameplay. (he's a big mean one)

This was the last announcement. The total of available characters is now up to 36!
The game will be out in ~2 weeks, on February 15/18.

On a separate note here's the new characters that were announced to join the cast of SF in the arcade release of Super Street Fighter IV:

That's right! It's classic cult obscure characters, Evil Ryu and Oni Akuma/Shin Gouki.
I'm pretty sure Capcom will be releasing them at some later point for the Xbox 360/PS3, specially since SF developer Ono said the game was DLC friendly. (or they simply lied to us, and will released another version again under the label "Super Turbo Reboot DX Director's Cut Ultra Championship Edition")

Here's more screens:

Gamin' NEWS! MVC3FTW

This game's title is quite a mouthful...specially written with initials...

Anyway, there's a new trailer for Marvel vs Capcom 3 out.
Showcasing new CGi scenes, more characters, hinting some other ones at the end and building everyone's impatience regarding the release next year...
Enjoy!

You can see (at least I've spotted) Chun-Li, Doom, Super Skrull, Captain America, that DMC's chick, Tron Bonne, Viewtiful, Amaterasu from Okami, Ironman and Morrigan! -phew!! that's a lot!-

Well, most of those are returning characters from MVC2. Only in classy design 3D-ysh graphics instead of the beautiful incredible 2D sprites.
And here's an attempt to find the other characters of this game:

Gamin' NEWS! New Capcom fighter!

There's gonna be a new CAPCOM fighter announced at ComiCon this year~
I'm a big fighter fan, in case you haven't noticed.

It will be directed again by Yoshinori Ono, creator of the great Street Fighter 4, awesome update SSF4 and lame-o Capcom Fighting Jam (oh god...not this one...).

There's a lot of rumours about a new Darkstalker game (which I would lov...waitaminute...it's gonna be 3D heh? oh...sorry, don't want it anymore -__-) or even a new SF4 update....

Ono-san posted on the Capcom blog this pic:

He said THIS WAS A CLEAR HINT at his new game...
Huh...Blanka: The Ryu years: An Xbox vs Playsation's story?...

Oh, there's a ink-like pic of Ruy's eye & eyebrow...huh...I got nothing...

What do you think guys?

A new Street Fighter? Something else? Something with Ryu in it?

I got my own theories:
- a lot of people want a new Darkstalkers
- Darkstalkers wouldn't be profitable enough, economically-wise. (hey, I know a bunch of SF/fighter fans which wouldn't buy a Darkstalkers even it was the most hi-tech/next gen game evah)
- Street Fighter vs. Darkstalkers!
Original and would surprise and sell enough!

There's also a lot of rumours of a
- Street Fighter vs. Tekken game!
Since Ono's been seen often discussing with Namco lately.
Plus a new Tekken's already been announced...could it be?!
