#MusicBOX - Ray Parker Jr. "GHOSTBUSTERS"

Okay, so I probably already posted this on the blog already once...but..who's keeping track anyhow?

When something's strange...in the neighborhood...

WHO YOU GONNA CALL??

I felt like listening to this awesome classic catchy tune~
Yeah, one of those days again...
It helps me through the day! :)

Ghostbusters Week!! - The Court Scene

 From Ghostbusters 2 now!
I always loved the moment when the boys went back into action. Great moment, the action culminating to the moment the Proton Packs are turned on once again:

And perfect line delivered by this director-turned actor-turned director, Harold Ramis.

Ghostbusters Week!! - Mr. Stay Puft

Enters Gozer, The Gozerian, Gozer The Destructor:

"I tried to think of the most harmless thing..."
Congrats, Ray. You doomed NYC and introduced the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man into cinema history!

Ghostbusters Week!! - First Call

Finally the team gets their first real job...
Another classic moment, I still get a chill down my spine to this day whenver I see this scene:

The guys suit up, Venkman as enthusiastic as ever.

Ghostbusters Week!! - Library

Another themed week! This time I wanted to post some cult moments from Ghostbusters. Perhaps not everybody's favorite ones, but mine.

This one is an essential part of the first movie for me.
The GB's first ghost and first failure as well... They really never got around capturing this one, didn't they? (well, not really if you check out their modern Xbox 360/PS3 game..which I loved btw)

Loved the tone of this scene (or even the whole movie for that matter), this balance of horror/comedy...
Amazing^^

8 Bits music & drawing - the Blues Brothers

People who know me, usually know that I'm a huuuuuge Blues Brothers fans.
Now, you do too.

And here's my "little" collection of BB CDs I bought over the years when I was younger, back when people used to actually buy CDs.

So here's the obligatory Blues Brothers related post I was due to post at some point on my blog.
First of all, here's a cartoon drawing I made, kind of a take with in mind what the BB would look like if they would get an animated series.

Oh, and I'm gonna use this occasion to also show an alternate version of this same pic alongside the pencils:

(click for bigger resolutions)

And finally, after all this time, a new 8-bits styled take on one of their songs, like those 8-bits songs I used to post on the blog a long time ago.

Everybody needs somebody to love 8-bits

The song is "Everybody needs somebody to love".

It's been years since I made one of those!~
(well, more like a year, give or take)
I kinda screw this one up melody-wise. Oh well...like I said, it's been years.
Once again done using FL Studio 8 with the plugin magical8bit.

Hope you like it ;)
(and that youtube won't screw up the sound too much as usual!)
