#Movie NEWS! Neighborhood Watch

Here's a pretty funny looking movie I missed on the blog 'till now.

Neighborhood Watch is a scifi comedy film directed by Akiva Schaffer (fromer SNL director, making this his movie debut), which will star a bunch of humorists including Seth Rogen, Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, etc.
And Doug Jones will star as the main alien villain!

The story is about an alien threat that menaces a neighborhood.

And I'm not that a fan of Ben Stiller (who I mostly liked in the good ol' Zoolander) to begin with :P

The film is expected for a July 27 release date.

Stand-up - RAAAAAAAANDY

The following video is actually about a fake stand-up comedian, RAAAAAAAANDY.
Which is actually the character Aziz Ansari plays in the movie Funny People.

A whole part of Aziz's recent comedy tour was actually devoted to portray this Randy character to people at the end of his show.

Stand-up - Seth Rogen

Here's a different stand-up from the usual bunch.
This one's Seth Rogen, and actually from 1996, from Rogen's humble beginnings.
He sure changed quite a bit since then, but you can already sort of guess how's he gonna be like/how his humor's gonna evolve.

Movie NEWS! Green Hornet's car

Finally some (little) news about the upcoming Green Hornet movie!

It's pretty faithful to the original's one.

Movie NEWS! The emerald wasp is back!

It's time.

There's finally a good look at Seth Rogen & Michel Gondry take on the legendary pulp mysterman, The Green Hornet!

So have a look at the very first trailer of this movie:

This looked like it was going to end in development hell...
Then Seth Rogen announced he was attached to this movie...
And some hated it, others loved it...

Now that I can see this in action..It seems like it could work!
Let's hope it turns out as good as the trailer~

Set for a January 14, 2011 release date.
