With the 25th Anniversary of the Legend of Zelda raging around lately, I thought this would be appropriate for today.

Fans on the internet have been going crazy with the Zelda timeline lately (as it is all the time these days, whenever a new episode is released).
Even more so thanks to an official Guide to the Zelda series released in Japan, which featured a sort of Timeline (unapproved by Shigeru Miyamoto nor Takashi Tezuka though..).
Fans have been trying to make sense out of it, how the games follow one another and therefore...

OpeningTheme - "BACK IN TIME!!"

Here's the opening theme (both versions, as seen during the first and then in the second season) to one of those 90s cartoons I like.
This time's from the sadly underrated Back to the Future: Animated series.
Not much people heard of this cartoon originally (and no, catching up on youtube, some bits and here doesn't count!). And as far as adaptations go, I consider this show to be one of the better ones.

It dig recapture the movies zany/comedic/science-fiction approach. And there was plenty of time travelling around for sure!
Plus Christopher Lloyd was back, altough only for sketch segments around the episodes, Dan Castellaneta voiced the animated Doc Brown. And Marty was voiced by David Kaufman - who has also been cast to fill in for Micheal J. Fox in other instances such as the follow-ups to Stuart Little.

Anyway, enough trivia! People can check this kinda stuff on wikipedia!

Here's a pretty cool new product coming up from Nike. 

The actual Back to the Future "2015 shoes" Mart McFl.....whaaAAAT???

An auction? With a starting price this expensive??

Well, excuuuuse me, but that's kinda to much for a poor lil' fan like me...

Anyway, check out this funny commercial regarding the actual real life shoes based on that cult movie Nike will be actually producing this year.

Sure, they're not as hi-tech as the one from the movie..then again, we didn't catch up to BTTF's shiny future.

They will be released in an effort to support the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research.

And that basketball player Kevin Durant's a pretty bad actor but at least he was cool enough to participate in this video!~

The Back to the Future: The Game website at TellTale Games has now been updated with lots more new details and infos.

There's character profiles, more concept arts and specially, the important part for an adventure game, voice clips from the game!

AND.
It seems that Biff won't be voiced by Tom Wilson!!!
Which is plain stupid! X__X
I love the guy!
And he's a big part of the BTTF franchise for me, just as much as Doc/Christopher Lloyd or Marty/Michael J. Fox!!
Plus he's actually a voice actor now these days, having appeared in many shows/cartoons/movies and games goshdarn'!! He was in 2 Crash Bandicoot games and many more I won't spend the time quoting!

Well, there's still some time for it, it's an episodic game, many things may still change (like LeChuck's voice in TellTale's Monkey Island, which was changed for the non-human LeChuck in later episodes and the disc release )

Finally!
Telltale games, which isn't the only adventure game studio out there I know I keep saying that,
just released a trailer for their upcoming new episodic game, that is...

This is heavy!!

The Telltale engine looks nicely upgraded since Monkey Island 5, which is great!
The cartoony character designs translated well to polygons.

But in motion? With the voice actors and all?

Woow! So far so good!
They move nicely, with the music and all the BTTF atmosphere is back and all~

Now, I only hopes the story does the serie justice.
Also no news in having Tom Wilson back for Biff and his intertemporal doubles?

I guess we'll get a look at the game's gameplay in the coming days, since the first episode is supposed to be out this month. (or you can wait to have all of them on disc at the end of the season for PC or Wii  for exemple)

RR Tom Wilson is funny!

When people think about Back To The Future...
Most think about the DeLorean. And the rest will think about Doc or Marty!
But there's also another character, less remembered but just as important to the franchise. Biff.

Tom Wilson isn't just everyone's favorite ultimate bully. (hey, Marty had to deal with Biffs in the past, present, future and even an alternate dimension!)

Around the 2000s Tom Wilson was able to make a comeback, with one song.
The Question Song.

Tom went viral on the internet, the music was playing on many radios...he then launched a comedic tour across the USA.
The song talked about those questions fans keep asking him all the time "How's Micheal J. Fox like? Nice guy! How's Micheal J. Fox like? Nice. How's Micheal J. Fox like? He's an alien!!" "Back to the Future 4? Not happening!"...

The show presented on this disc was recorded at The Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, California.

 He is funny indeed!

This one hour stand-up covers Tom Wilson's life (his children, money, mid-life problems..) and other fun trivia.
The album is composed of sketches perfomed live with an audience, songs played on the guitar and sang by Wilson and as bonus tracks, studio versions of some of said songs.

It really goes from one end to another.
First, as starters, Back to the Future is dealt in the opening.
Then, Tom Wilson's experience as he travelled to Hong Kong (and people where still able to identify Biff there!), other stories and a bunch of fun laughs to have.

After that, the album goes into the various songs he played during his tour. The musics are catchy, fun and simple (covers of popular children songs) yet quite sarcastic and for an adult audience. (prostate problems, money problems, carjacking...)

It's really a fun moment.
And, it seems judging this by the cover paid off this time, Tom Wilson is funny!

Overall, a great CD Stand-up!
If you wanna have a good time, listen to something while working or doing something else, this is for you!

For fans of BTTF, Biff/Tom Wilson and anyone who has a sense of humour! (which is, from the looks of everyone's mood nowadays going all dark/gritty/emo/angry in their everyday's life, not a lot of folks :/)

I always like watching/listening to comedy stand-ups, and Tom Wilson is a great guy! Yes, funny!
He really has that kind of humour, that tone of voice that really grabs the audience and take them on a funny path all the way long.

GAME NEWS! Adventurous sequels?

After maaaaaany many rumours on the web, Telltale games, best known for their Monkey Island revival and the current Sam & Max adventure gaming series, have just announced an exclusive deal with Universal.
I've quickly talked about it previously.
Their next episodic series will be based on Jurassic Park and Back to the Future!

Yep. This mean two 5-episodes seasons for those classic 80s/90s movies. (yeah, yeah, I know JP is based on a novel! I've read it and still have both books!!...)
BTTF is supposed to start its season first in not that long. (around september? maybe...)

I like adventure games... But how good will a JP or BTTF game translate?
There's hasn't been any good BTTF game previously, but there was some really neat JP action games in the past...
What's up with those classic revivals? Is it all because of the recent Ghostbusters game? Is Telltale that afraid to make an original adventure game? Will Monkey Island 6 be made someday? Will JP be based on the books, the movie or an original retelling? Will BTTF be a retelling of the movie events or some expanded universe/spinoff series? So many questions...
