Gamin' NEWS! New #Capcom trailers straight from Captivate 2012

Capcom released some brand new trailers featuring their upcoming new "big" titles, at their very own private Convention, "Captivate 2012".
Check this out for some zombies, snow action and devils that might be crying...
First up his Resident Evil 6, finally revealed thanks to this (second) trailer!

RE6 which is looking quite promising so far.
Looking great and sheduled for October 2.
Amongst the new tidbits, it seems that the young Sherry Birkin from RE2 is making a comeback!

Looking nice! B)
Can't wait!
Expect this one for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

~

Next up is a surprise Lost Planet 3!

Whoaa... I wasn't expecting this one :P
I still have yet to play LP2, but I loved LP1, so I'm all for it.

This one's aimed for mid-2013. It's a return to the snowy planet, with a prequel story taking place before LP1. Exactly what fans were originally expecting from LP2, since everything seemed to point out that the story should focus on the father of the original game's protagonist at some point to explore the early days of the "lost planet".

Developed externally at Spark Unlimited.

Color me intrigued!

~

And last but not least, it's the return of Capcom's Devil May Cry series, I series, I'll confess, I never tried until now but will probably catch on with the recently released "HD Collection" - with the "rebooted" DmC: Devil May Cry by the talented Ninja Theory studio (Enslaved).

I know fanboys are gonna rage about this one, but this feels pretty mysterious and intriguing. It might actually be quite a fun title!
Gameplay wise it does look great.
The story will either be some meta self-referential parody of the series or something gritty/emo-ysh.

Anyways, something worth keeping an eye on.

~

And that is all.
I was expecting some info regarding Dead Rising 3 as well, but without luck...

AwesomeCosplay Pics of the day: Up here!!

And we're back with SilverTallest (aka TallestSilver) and her awesome Power Girl cosplay! <3

This time she hanged around Wondercon:

Dayum!
The perfect looks and fun attitude to portray PG! ^__^

Watcha lookin' at??

AwesomeCosplay Pics of the day: Mass Effect's Samara

Here's a pretty kickass cosplay picture.

It's Mass Effect's Samara the asari. And why does she look so goshdarn faithful and incredible? Simply because she's being portrayed here by "Rana", the model which Bioware used for the actual character design:

She does look quite stunning!

Also, that's one mighty impressive costume, quite detailed and recognizable.

Impressive! ~<3

Obama-chan: Collect 'Em All!!!

Want some Obama figurines, anyone?

This is part of a line of Obama action figurines, presented at a convention recently.
Never before has a sitting US President be the object of such merchandising before. I mean Bill had a lot of appearances in cartoons and games and stuff...but nothing like Mister Barack Obama here above!

AwesomeCosplay Pics of the day: WonderDad and Daughter

Awwwww :)

From the DC booth at WonderCon.

EpicPic - The Sword of Omens!!

Didn't I use to have an Obama tag? I mean, more random pictures of the US president on this blog?...

Anyways, here's Barack Obama holding something quite epic at some toy convention...
So, someone told me this was a photoshop job. I, huh, knew that!!....

You just know he's thinking "Thunder, Thunder, Thunder...." :'3

Pic of the day - Tim Schafer and Al Lowe

Here's something epic!
Mario & Sonic together at last-level of epic.

It's Tim Schafer (from LucasArts' classic Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, etc.) and Al Lowe (From Sierra's classic Leisure Suit Larry, Freddy Pharkas,..) next to each other!

Photo taken at this year's DICE 2012. (a game developer expo)

Both adventure games legends finally met while while filming an episode of The Bonus Round today.

Tim's doing pretty okay at the moment, at Double Fine. What with raising money for a brand new modern point & click game and going to finally produce a sequel to Psychonauts.

Meanwhile, Al Lowe's still trying to finish his adventure game Sam Suede and his currently overlooking the remakes of the Leisure Suit Larry games.

Summer of Sonic 2011 - retrospective.

A lil' retrospective on this year's Summer of Sonic was just made available on youtube.
It was a pretty fun event, I know it, I was there!

Aaah---good ol' Summer of Sonic 2011.
Good ol' sweaty, busy and hot enclosed-space SoS 2011.
It was fun, even with all the nerd sweatness around.

AwesomeCosplay Pics of the day: Incredible BioShock cosplay

Wanna some outstanding cosplay in action?

Here's the best BioShock cosplay, bare none, I've ever seen.
The attention to the details, the portrayal...Even the photoshoot is amazing!

They perfectly captured the feel and tone of the game here, didn't they?

Man I hope we won't see the day Hollywood will ruin this franchise with one awful lackbuster film feature... Because we all know they won't be able to produce only half of the quality seen here!

Since Adam Strange's been jetpacking around my blog lately...

Here's a great cosplayer who perfectly channeled the retro "pulp-ysh" pin-up look of Alanna Strange!

And there's even a pic of her with long hair, if you wanna a more faithful look:

Fantastic! <3
Love the steampunk gun she made!
