First up Marvel announced... they would give free comic books (variant covers) to retailers that would destroy issues of DC Comics!

Note, they already did that in the past (last year with Blackest Night).
This time they're sending free variants of Fear Itself #6 for torn off covers ripped off Flashpoint #1. (which is getting more and more reprints)

And they've also recently announced a bunch of new villains will be introduced in their upcoming titles along the rest of the year. You know, to shake things up and add new future-classic characters to their lineup.
Amongst those, there's gonna be an Iron Ghost Rider, Beta Red and Orange Hulk! Yay or what??
They will all make their debut in (and start ruining their respective Marvel title after)Fear Itself #6 as well.
Man.... The House of Ideas is running out of them... We're pretty far off Stan Lee's era these days...
