Tecmo released a new video for their upcoming Dead or Alive 5 - which looks like it ain't coming any time soon btw.

The newly shuffled Team Ninja (sans series creator Itagaki, and various other crew members, who went on to open the new Valhalla Game Studios) made a great work at revamping the whole game's system.
Faster, tighter.
More action and violence.
Like a mix of Tekken and Virtua Fighter (which is fun considering they added Akira as a guest character).
Looks like it will be more close combat-focused over the usual guard-oriented gameplay of the past games.
And the newly reimagined chara design looks like. Ayane and Hitomi look both fantastic!
I like how the face now actually look different from a character to another unlike the previous titles' art style.

The level design looks crazy and over the top. Which is a thing I always loved coming from DOA games!
Keep an eye out for this one next winter probably.
