I've been blogging about this one, new trailer after new trailer...
And I still haven't bought Conduit 2....
Anyway, here's the latest trailer just for fun:
I loved the first one - let haters hate away.
It was fun. And the controls, highly customizable, were perfect.
Too bad it didn't do well amongst gamers, I'd love to have more FPS on the Wii, a console that seems build for FPS and point & click games....yet mostly gets party games and Nintendo own made titles.
Plus, agent Micheal Ford gets voiced Duke Nukem himself, Jon St. John in this new episode!

Gamin' NEWS! Launch trailers - Conduit & Splatty
Here's some Launch Trailers to start off the week~
First of Conduit 2!
I'm gonna repeat myself, so anyway I'm one of those few who actually liked the first The Conduit game on the Wii.
This new one looks quite improved over the last episode (though losing a bit of scifysh/plot for a more general design)
This really is the proof SEGA still produces some innovative games (with High Voltage on the development)
Here's the Trailer:
It looks quite nice and I'm interested to see more now^^
Conduit 2 will be out in February, so you gotta wait some more months before trying it~
Next up, Splatterhouse (Xbox 360, PS3)!

This one should be out almost everywhere by now.
After changing its development team various times, the game came out even here in Europe actually sooner than expected!
Here's the launch trailer as well:

Gamin' NEWS! Conduit 2 shows is ugly head, it isn't that bad
Like I already said in previous Conduit 2 news, I'm one of those few who liked the first game, blabla, yadda yadda...
Anyway, here's a new trailer:
It looks quite nice!
Haters will hate, I know, but I got to say this looks fun, fresh, colorful and quite smooth. Exactly what the Wii needs :P
(let's be honest, Red Steel games aren't that good and more games like this are alreasy welcome for this system)

Gamin' NEWS! Conduit 2
Here's some news about High Voltage's Conduit 2.
(which I haven't talked about since...so many post ago...more like ever)
The game doesn't seem to look much like the original one...
And for a good reason! People didn't seem to quite like the Conduit back then.
I for one, really liked it!
But you're gonna say, I'm really easy to please (and easy to dislike more popular games as well... call it the "anti-mainstream factor" :P)
I thought the original was fun, original. Finally a good (or simply "a") fps game on the Wii! And it was completly customisable!
It had that Halo 1 look, visually (which can be either a compliment or not, considering it's a Wii game).
And gameplay/level-wise it was pretty close to the original 1st Half-Life game (which I still love to this day, thank you very much~)
Anyway,h ere's a trailer of the new one:
I'm glad they're offering a new FPS to the wii, and even it's not a more mainstream franchises/well loved license.
I'm just sad it seems so much generic than the original Conduit.
Too much gritty seriousness in this one. (loved the original conspiracy-spy-espionnage more funny theme).
Anyway, this will come out around february, so plenty o' time to think about it later on~

Epic image is epic.

Nope. Doesn't seem related to this one at all :/

Gamin' News! More stuff from E3
The news keep coming up...
And I keep uploading my blog with all those new stuff I've been kinda following~
Instead of following the more cliché, popular and mainstream stuff, I've been tryin' to get informations on the more underrated stuff.
Like Conduit 2 from High Voltage software and Sega. I did really like the original first game, even if some haters tried to diss that one. It was pretty nice and really changed from the usual Wii stuff...
The sequel is coming in Autumn 2010.
Here's a big load of pics:
The visuals are looking pretty neat.
If this games has a more original level design, better graphics and co-op campaign while keeping the original game fully customizable options&gameplay... it will easily surpass the original one!
Oh! And here's a brand new teaser trailer to Ubisoft less expected game I am Alive.
There wasn't any more news on this one since a really long time... at least we have a new trailer!
It isn't Assassin's Creed, Prince of Persia nor Splinter Cell, but it deserves a lot more attention.
This one could turn out quite epic!

Aliens, conspirations... this one got it all!

NEWS! SEGA/High Voltage's random fighting game!
Since pretty recently, SEGA has been codeveloping games with new studios across America and Europe.
The goal was to have more western games in their library without the new to open new studios (exemple: Platinum Games in japan, who made Bayonetta, Mad World,..).
Sega has made a partnership with HIGH VOLTAGE Soft. for a while.
Their track record included the, hum.., Leisure Suit Larry 8 Magna Cum Laude, which wasn't...that good. But it was okay~
(Much worse came out in the 9th game, but that's another story)
HIGH VOLTAGE released as their first SEGA game, The Conduit.
You may like it or hate it. But it still was a pretty unique decent FPS entry on the Wii. Their upcoming games include a Conduit 2 and The Grinder. I'm kinda expecting those, Conduit 2 sounds pretty cool so far, and the Grinder will be a horror/B movie/Grindhouse-style themed FPS.
Overall, I like the studio, since it did a partnership with Sega.
Hey, not every game has to be an AAA title/Blockbuster!
They're fun games and enjoyable experience.
Now here's the questionable marketing decision.
HV Soft. will release a random fighting game, still using their impressive Wii engine...
Usually I'm all for fighting games, it's not because you already have a favorite in that genre that you can't play some other ones (that's kiddie mentality, don't bash/hate spam other things just because you already have a favorite! give the others a break/chance!)
Tournament of Legends it's called.
And clearly, my problem with it is that it seems as uninspired as its title : (
Here's the brand new footage we have of it:
Tournament of Legends : Trailer
envoyé par SEGA
It looks great, has that Soul Calibur edge..but looks so uninspired...
I don't know those guys! That minotaur and that spartaaaaaaa guy, who are they?! Why should I like/help them?! Becoming a legend in what tournament???
I don't know... I may sound harsh with this one... but I'm not that interested nor motivated...
I will try to give it a chance since I like Conduit and am waiting for their 2 upcoming FPS on the Wii...
