More news from the Comic-Con!
There seems to be a great of new stuff announced or revealed at this year's Comic-Con.
Like this pretty huge real life display of Abin Sur's body, from the Green Lantern movie!
Wow! Pretty fun!
Abin Sur seems to be..made of chewing gum :P
Huhu...
Anyway, cool stuff~
Marvel's got some nice display from their own movies as well.
Like Thor's Hammer:
Which I found to look pretty..ugly.
Too much plastic, cheap pain...and seems to big (I hope it's not a 1:1 scale model... how could Thor pick this up and use it in a combat?!)
Wow! Captain America's shielf! Now that looks fantastic!
Classy, colorful, I love it! Much better than the Hammer!
Hey, and we know now that both movies will be subtitled "The First Avenger" for Cap and "The Mighty Avenger" for Thor! What will happen to Ironman? Will they rename further re-releases or Ironman 3 into "The Drunk Avenger"? (or the "The only Avenger that worked so far, so we decided to make a bunch of others ones and make a helluva more money on this"?)
On a non-DC, non-Marvel part, there's also a poster of the future Green Hornet hangin' around in the corners:
And it's not just about the movies.
There's also the TV adaptation of the Walking Dead!
Thanks to a giant set, with tons of zombie props, there's a good look at the actors portraying the characters:
Fantastic work! Both the casting and the costume design looks spot on! (apart...from Rick's friend...)
Oh, and here's a trailer, for that game I won't be getting, DC Universe Online
(cause 1)don't have a PS3 2)could get this for PC but I DO NOT PLAY MMoRPGs! 3)paying a service to play a game, online, count me out! 4)I actually would prefer playing real characters with real motivations/background than the random folders you build up for such games..)
Don't plan to ever play this..but...this video, albeit confusing, looks neat! (and that's not actual gameplay, of course it will be mmorpg-ugly, but it's a nice CGi trailer nonetheless!)
And finally, a litte sidenote, for those who can afford and are actually at the SDCC...
There's been sighting of some celebrities at the Comic Con, pretty funny ones.
Wearing masks: Simon Pegg (disguised as the Joker) and Nick Frost, Robert Downey Jr (using a luchador mask from what people found so far), Seth Rogen, Lucy Lawless & Daniel Dae Kim amongst many others.
And, not wearing masks, just as "themselves", Seth Green or Joss Whedon have been seen around the halls :P
