Anyway, Adventure gaming fans, here's the next "big thing" coming from Pendulo Studios, makers of the Runaway series.
Unlike every other site or blog, I won't mention they're a spanish developer like "all studios" are supposed to be American or what? - "you just did it!" D'Oh!!

Anyway, here's the pitch,
The story takes place in the '50s. Liz Allaire and Dan Murray - the main characters - are two journalists trying to make a big story in Hollywood. But this isn't your regular world, monsters such as vampires or the Frankenstein monster do exist in "real life" too.Yes, in case you're familiar with Pendulo past games, they're cleverly remaking ideas and bringing back one of their very first game, Hollywood Monsters, through this new title.
Though it won't be a remake of that old game. Just reimagine some of its aspect.
For Runaway fans, the game will feel similar to how Brian's adventure was played.
In fact it uses the exact same engine as Runaway 3 with some nice little updates on the graphic part.
Another classic "point and click" gameplay, featuring beautiful modern hand drawn backgrounds mixing with 3D character cartoony models.
Which is a great change from all those 3D adventure games that have been out lately.

By my guesses of it, it should be out between this winter and summer 2011 I think.
