Well, I'm usually tired of all these adaptations, be it from manga/comics/bande dessinée to film.
But in this case I guess I'll make an exception since this all sounds pretty fun.
Rumiko Takahashi's Ranma ½ will be turned into a two part live action OVA (direct-to-video), which will first air in Japan on December 9.
How cool is that?
Well, live action animes tend to turn out better than superhero flicks in my eyes, because they don't take itself too seriously. Heck, Yatterman was pretty fantastic, and the live GTO movie (and TV series) was easily amongst my favorites of the genre.
