Gamin' NEWS! Mass Effect 3 Launch Trailer
Bioware just released Mass Effect 3's Launch Trailer!
Which is awesome, cause the game's gonna be out here next week, on March 9.
Check it out,
Looking good!
Which is probably just because I'm super pumped up for this game , cause it's not that an incredible trailer.
A bit grey-sh, not quite great looking. The game is poorly represented, with the choices of the scenes represented here a bit dull...
Anyway, can't wait to play this one next week! :D

Gamin' NEWS! Mass Effect LIVE
So, Bioware just released a live-action trailer for their upcoming Mass Effect 3 game.
It's kinda epic, all in all.
Short. Simple. But epic.
On another note, there's gonna be a Mass Effect manga now? Really?
And one featuring some kinda alternate reality/cute chibi art/school girl version of the ME gals?
Noooo! Nothing like that, you perverted mind.
Sort of like that Evangelion romance/comedy manga.
It's true!
It's gonna be drawn by the mangaka Michi Michiru. Showcasing the scifi universe of ME under a more mundane and silly point of view.
In "Teach me! Professor Mordin!"

Ad - Mass Effect 3 : "Take Earth Back"
Here's a brand new Mass Effect 3 trailer.
For some random reason, it starts like this...
Surely, since this was a TV ad for the upcoming game, they thought adding a bit of human (a child? really) interaction could help sell this big scifi epic game. (it aired in the middle of AMC's The Walking Dead)
But the message is sort of lost in translation. People will only think "what is this random Star Wars-imitation?" "yet another random violent shooter for teens!"...
Not "hey, look! the conclusion of an epic deep interesting action-RPG for a mature audience".
I surely do not think so after this random mixed bag of a trailer :/

Random - Mass Effect easter egg "Legion shows us his moves"
Here's something random. From Mass Effect.
A little random scene, in the video game Mass Effect 2.
If you wait enough time, Legion starts dancing around :P
Yeah, I know. Totally random.
Enjoy!
Seriously though, what's with all the dancing in Mass Effect?? XD
Bioware's new obsession?! Upcoming ME spinoff? :P

Felicia Day playing with herself.
...
What?
Anyway, here's a follow-up of sorts to this previous post.
Wanna see how fun, or awkward it is to play with your own digital alter ego?
Felicia plays a bit of the Dragon Age DLC "Mark of the Assassin".
She even has to pay for her own DLC? Bad EA, bad!

Sega NEWS! PSO2 - the TGS trailer
Sega’s Phantasy Star Online 2 trailer from the Tokyo Game Show's been officially released.
Check it out!
PSO is a sub-series from Sega's long running Scifi RPG series "Phantasy Star".
This PSO2 will finally mark a return to the online-RPG series launched on the Dreamcast.
The above trailer's pretty good, it gets perfectly the epic scifi space opera feel.
Also, nice of them to finally add some urban environments to explore, it will make a fun break from the usual natural ones.

Gamin' NEWS! X-Men: Destiny Launch Trailer
Looking nice, if a bit simple both graphically and concept-wise. At least it will hopefully be like having a new X-men Legends/Marvel Alliance game.

Gamin' NEWS! "Mark of the Assassin DLC"
Here's Felicia Day turned into a Dragon Age II character in an upcoming DLC episode:
Random.
I just hope Bioware won't do the same with future Mass Effect 3 DLC characters and missions..
I mean, it can be fun with their fantasy-RPG series and The Guild's actress, I see the link, sure.
But I sure won't like having "real actors" popping-up as bonus squad members* in their scifi action-RPG series as well...
We already have fake!Vandamme there, that's more than enough.
*of course we already have that with Seth Green/Joker and Yvonne Strahovski/Miranda, but that's besides the point. I'm talking about additional "celebs" getting into the game via paid add-ons.

Gamin' NEWS! Some Nintendo titles + Bananas!
From this year's 2011 Tokyo Game Show!
It's time for yet another video game update blog post!
This time featuring Nintendo trailers and some familiar Monkey returning yet once again.
First up, let's check out Nintendo's all new trailer for their upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword!
Nintendo doesn't do much CGi trailers usually, so it's always nice to give a look at such video for one of their titles.
I missed a couple Zelda games, so I'll be playing this around 2015 probably (ha! retro gamers don't fear delays in their "planning"!)
And here's a gameplay trailer showcasing some new mechanics and features:
Looks fun!
It will be released the 20 November on the Wii.
And now, here's a look at Nintendo's mascot upcoming title. This one's on the 3DS instead, for November too, Super Mario 3D Land:
This video's from the press conference.
All in all, Super Mario 3D Land looks like a pretty neat entry. I'm more itnerested in playing this than any of the Mario Sunshine/Galaxy/2 that I missed.
I dunno, but the mix of 2D sidescrolling + simpler 3D platformer has really a nice touch to it. Sure, both Mario Galaxy games might be good games but I'd rather go for something simpler without the planetoids gimmick. (yeah, call me old school if you want!)
Meanwhile, Kirby returns in the appropriately named Kirby's Return to Dream Land on the Wii later this year.
This new game will be a return to basics after a more original entry earlier this year.
Awesome!
I haven't played any Kirby game since the (two) original game(s) on the classic Game Boy waaaay back.
Might give it a try!
(plus, I can't get enough of all these recent sidescrollers lately!)
Luigi will be back in his own spinoff, in this sequel to the Gamecube launch title. This time on 3DS as well.
(note to self: might need to end up buying a 3DS at some point...)
Luigi's Mansion 2's looking great so far! :D
And finally, looking at the other side of the fence.
Sega will bring the series Super Monkey Ball back to the scene, with an all-new entry this time for Sony's new handheld system, the PS Vita:
Great recommended hybrid platformer/puzzle series! If you got a system on which there's a Monkey Ball, I can't recommend trying one of these games. The puzzles are often quite interesting and always make you scratch your brain on later levels.
And that is all for this time~

Gamin' NEWS! Mass Effect 3 trailer
The E3 has ended, but we can still enjoy this kickass Mass Effect 3 trailer Bioware has released recently:
Looking great, if, a bit similar/close to Mass Effect 2.
And story-wise, it will be the end of the series/trilogy!

Gaming NEWS! new X-Men: Destiny trailer
It's been a while since we last saw anything from this upcoming X-men game.
X-Men: Destiny is the latest X-men title coming up from Activision & Silicon Knights. It is currently aiming for a September release.
From the few we've seen so far (for a game that is coming up so soon) it seems to be sort of similar to the previous RPG-ified X-Men Legends games. Both in gameplay and customization.
The story is being written by Mike Carey (!), Marvel writer of the X-Men: Legacy comic book series.
You'll play as a new mutant who joins the X-Men and will have to make choices which will evolve the story. Kinda like Mass Effect I'm guessing. The focus of the plot is on "choices", as opposed to a more traditional linear type of gameplay. Thus the title :P
The story will take place in San Francisco, were a division between humans and mutants is only growing.
The game begins at a peace rally being held in memory of the deceased Professor X, where the player chooses from one of three mutant characters to play as, who have been originally created for the game. The game allows for the player to decide which mutants become their allies and enemies through dialogues decided during the course of the story.
Here's the new trailer:
What d'you think?
Not sure if I'm really interested, but could end up a fun game!

E3 NEWS! lots MOAR trailers PartVI
And one more (the last?) E3 post for the day! While people have been liking or dissing the new Wii U, my fears have been confirmed...it's not retrocompatible with the Gamecube! (time to replug the GC...)
Now the question is, will we be able to transfer saves/profiles/etc from Wii to Wii U?
Back to the games.
I posted some stuff about Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City yesterday.
Here's the game itself running:
Looking much better than I thought it would!
Not sure I'll get it, but at least it seems decent enough.
And since we're on Resident Evil, here's once again the other one, Resident Evil: Revelations:
Looking much better than, dare I say, the actual Resident Evil 5!
Why couldn't Capcom do that on home systems at first...
And YAY! Hunk is back to be a badass (and a pain in the ass)!
Speaking of Capcom, did you guys check the Devil May Cry reboot?
Too much angst...can't...handle...the angst...GYAAH!!
At least the "special effects" look nice on the street. *positivie comment of the day*
We'll be able to go from "classic Dante in a SF4-ysh visual to Emo-Dante at will!
Capcom made also available trailers for their upcoming fighting titles:
Launch trailer for the re-re-re-re-release of SF4, Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. (kiddin'! Calm down you SF-nerds!)
And...
The Street Fighter X Tekken Trailer!
Alright!
Though, as much of a SF I am, kinda more waiting for Namco's take on this...
It's kinda funny how Capcom made this video about the SF guys kickin' the heck outta the Tekken guys :P
Let's see something else.
Anarchy Reigns (Max Anarchy in Japan) is being developed for the Xbox 360 and PS3 by PlatinumGames and published by SEGA.
Can't wait for this "Mad World 2"!
Speaking of anarchy, here's the latest entry in this famous fun zombie series:
This Dead Rising 2 - Frank West edition is turning out quite nicely.
Dead Rising 2: Off The Record will be out later this year.
Here's something some people don't know about, have forgotten or may even not expect:
It's a new entry in the XCOM series (similar to the classic Fallout games) which has been reimagined as a 3rd person action western RPG (kinda like the modern recent Fallout entries). Shaping up quite nicely...and very scifi-ysh! Though I can imagine fans having quite a hard time with this evolution...
Here's SEGA latest rail shooter with zombies and monsters to shot down in a creepy setting...which is not an House of the Dead, almost but not really. Rise of Nightmares
After the fright, the bright!
Here's the new Kirby Wii, after checking out yesterday the DS one.
Fun, bright, colorful! A hit already!
And to continue on this theme, here's the latest trailer to Sonic Generations!
*let the haters hate!*
This looks amazing, gorgeous!
Woow!! *in his best Keanu Reeves voice once again*
Do you know the movie Top Gun?
Did you know that since the Nes days they've continued releasing new versions of the game, year after year??
Here's the latest one to date:
It's called Top Gun: Hard Lock and will be out early next year on the "next gen" systems.
Inversion by Saber Interactive. The guys who made the time travelling-gimmicky Time Shift a couple years back.
This time the gimmick's gravity!
And finally, let's close this topic with Q? Entertinment new Child of Eden.
Which is sort of a (spiritual) sequel to Sega's Rez on the Dreamcast:
A gorgeous innovative modern shooter. Playable with Kinect..or not! :)

E3 NEWS! lots MOAR trailers PartIV
Part 4 of these new videos/announcements/interviews/etc..!!
Now, it's time to check some of my fav news and best looking stuff.
(and by that I really mean "best looking stuff")
Ubisoft sure had a lot of new stuff to show.
Here's some gameplay from the upcoming Rayman Origins!
Woow! *in his best Keanu Reeves impression voice*
It's looking amazing! Well animated, colorful, fun. Like a great cartoon. Or better, like the orignal Rayman!
And it's great to listen to such passionate developers.
It's funny how a year passed, since the previous E3, where they showcased this very same game.
This should be made available on a retail disc as well just for the wait they've put us through.
And Rabbids fans, worry not.
They will also be back in their own title (yay! Rayman is finally truly separated from them!)
In this random party game for Kinect:
Looks like we can call it Raving Rabbids: Alive & Kicking.
Also from Ubi, here's Assassin's Creed: Revelations.
Woah! Ezio! Altair!
Looking great!
And as enigmatic as previous episodes :)
Can't believe this already coming for this November!!!
And another Ubi-sequel:
It's Far Cry 3! Taking place in Africa again it seems.
I would have preferred another completely different setting...like The Arctic Pole or something..
Graphics looks nice however.
Now, something gorgeous, something unique.
It's the 3rd BioShock game!
Looks like more of the same..on a completely different and beautiful setting!
And I wanna say..even better than the past previous 2 games underwater (as much as I loved 'em originally).
Irrational Games is back with 2K Games on this all-new BioShock Infinite.
I'm particularly loving the art style. Simply put, splendid! (cute gal :'3)
Some gameplay from Deus Ex 3 finally!
Eidos is developing for Square Enix this Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Looks like a richer experience closer to Deus Ex 1 compared to the more nervous action-fuelled simple Deus Ex 2.
And last but not least, Mass Effect 3!
Bioware is aiming this one for the 3/6/2012.
Looking nice, shaping nicely.
Can't wait! :D
More on the E3 later on this week~

AwesomeCosplay Pic of the day: Wrex?
Today, let's check some Mass Effect cosplay!
This team was seen together at last year's San Diego ComiCon.
Here's a femShepard...
Nifty work on the shiny armour!
A mighty impressive Tali might I say!
And :'3
No Wrex :/
Grunt is his name!
And finally the Illusive Man.
Well, it's probably not the more impressive or complicated cosplay to do... but at least someone did this character, I guess!
And here's a video from the show:

Gamin' NEWS! PSO2 news
Sega just released a bunch of info and new material about the upcoming Phantasy Star Online 2.
This true sequel to the Dreamcast original is for the moment only scheduled on PC for this week (in Japan)!
I've never been a big online player.
And it was only on PSO back in the day that I spent so many hours on a multiplayer game. I still remember planning free time with buddies and playing the online mode for hours, literally.
This one will be a real new episode, no more PSO Episodes (like 1&2 on the DC, PS2 and Gamecube or the card game Episode 3).
Thanks to the experience they had from Phantasy Star Universe on the PC and due to the big success of the recent Phantasy Star Portable games they finally decided to make a new proper HD title in the PSO series.
For now, no console port are expected :/
Here's some pics now:
It's looking great (and familiar!)
