Here's some news on the upcoming PlatinumGames title!
Looks like the MadWord pseudo-sequel Anarchy Reigns will get three more new characters, it's good to also see some new faces after the latest announcement of Bayonetta joining the roster.
The game will debut this July, and we didn't got any more news as of late...
Three characters have been finally announced now, all at the same time! And for a reason, the sisters Rin-Rin, Fei-Rin et Ai-Rin will share the same gimmicks and motifs, but will each enjoy a different gameplay element, a different weapon.
Enjoy:
Looks mighty fun!
Everyone's expecting the multiplayer mode, but the solo campaign(s) will also be pretty solid from the sounds of it!
Day one, yo! (which for me, is pretty rare :P)

Gamin' NEWS! more on #AnarchyReigns + Transformers
Here's a couple of videogame news!
3rd person action games it is for t'day!
First up, Sega and Platinum Games just released two new trailers for Anarchy Reigns, on both Sega's (SegaSide) and Platinum's (PlatinumSide) website of the game.
Duality is the key word here.
They both highlight Jack Cayman and Leo's scenario. (which just goes to confirm this game's simply MadWorld 2 at heart)
Enjoy:
Loads of gameplay and CGi cinematic scenes in there!
It is basically a continuation of the story of MadWorld. And the game itself plays pretty similarly in the singleplayer mode. (the multiplayer will be more action/match/arena oriented)
~
Meanwhile, Activision released an all-new trailer for their own Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.
This sequel to War for Cybertron is looking pretty promising, if you ask me.
And I'm not a fan of Transformers (mostly a casual fan you can say), but seeing these "dinobots", "insectbots", etc. come together in this epic conclusion.. High Moon did a great job of improving an already fun enough game.
Keep an eye out for this one, 'round August 28.

Gamin' NEWS! Anarchy Reigns gets a Bayonetta
Here's some news on the Sega front.
The pseudo-sequel to Madworld (Wii), Anarchy Reigns, gets a proper release date as well as a new bonus character.
The game is sheduled for July 6 now.
This beat 'em all will be mutliplayer focused, but still contain a long enough and decent single player campaign.
It will mostly play similar to Madworld (allowing combos, grabs and the use of weapons/objects to defeat your opponents).
Joining the cast of this "Madworld 2" alongside Jack and some new ones will be Bayonetta guest-starring in this game. (and add the rumored Vanquish protagonist and this will become a Platinum Games epic crossover - fitting for Platinum Games' last collaboration with Sega!)
Oh, and apparently, she'll be DLC and pre-order bonus.
Looking forward for this title?
I do!

Gamin' NEWS! Good: Segas, Bad: DOAs, Ugly: Payne...
And here's some new news regarding upcoming games, straight from this year's TGS!
Also, other miscellaneous information.
First up, Sega shows some more of its upcoming titles.
Like Sonic Generations.
I already posted lots of stuff regarding this return in form to the Sonic series. But so few info about the handheld 3DS port. Let's check it out!
And it looks fantastic!
A good alternative to the main systems HD version for sure!
And it will even have some bonus content like Sonic 3's Mushroom Hill Zone!
Nice^^
And here's a look at Madworld's pseudo-sequel, Anarchy Reigns!
The solo/storymode to be precise, which will actually really act as a sequel to Madworld:
Cool stuff.
The game will be out in January, next year. And it's nice to see again all these faces back from Madworld, Jack, the Baron, etc...
Though I miss Madworld's creative art style. (in black and white, no colors thank you~)
Meanwhile at the TGS, Tecmo revealed the upcoming new entry in their long-running classic fighting game series, Dead or Alive 5!
This game will mark the first DOA entry without series creator Tomonobu Itagaki on board.
(well, second if you count that PSP port of one of the "minigames party" DOA...hum..)
Good... bad... Only time will tell.
Also, with fighting games being all popular these last couple of years + finally a multi-console DOA, I'm guessing this game will be the starting point for many newcomers to the series.
Here's the trailer...
Looks cool..as far as early in-game gameplay footage go.
Dynamic cameras, really? Or was it just for show in this video?
Graphically it doesn't look that far from DoA 4... Wait and see!
And here's a teaser poster, worry not the gals will be back too:Dynamic cameras, really? Or was it just for show in this video?
Graphically it doesn't look that far from DoA 4... Wait and see!
The title is planned for a 2012 release on 360 and PS3.
And in case you forgot about Tecmo/Team Ninja's other successful franchise, the Ninja Gaiden series will also be brought back Itagaki-less in the aptly named Ninja Gaiden 3.
And this time no "Sigma" since this game will be simultaneously released on Xbox 360 AND PS3!
Finally, let's have a look at Rockstar ruining another game series I like.
I know, I know...there's lots of R* fans out there...
I already went large in details why I didn't like what they do to games nowadays, specially regarding a little game I liked in the past.
I know lots of kids think they're game are all cool and mature (hint: violence+bllod =/= mature, that's what kids think, not what the reality is for adults). But I'm so tired of their GTA-ization of non-GTA games...
ANYWAYS!
Here's Max Payne 3. A game that looks and feels nothing like both previous Max Panye games co-developed by 3DRealms and Remedy. Which was a noir-esque action movie-like experience.
Turned into a mindless cover-shooter based GTA-like generic mainstream title:
You know what? I could have easily accepted this new game if it was something new and original. And different IP.
Like this it just looks like they're trying to sell their random new product under a familiar and liked name....
Kinda how it would be if their last game, L.A.Noir, had been called, say, "Streets of Rage 4" for example.

E3 NEWS! lots MOAR trailers PartVI
And one more (the last?) E3 post for the day! While people have been liking or dissing the new Wii U, my fears have been confirmed...it's not retrocompatible with the Gamecube! (time to replug the GC...)
Now the question is, will we be able to transfer saves/profiles/etc from Wii to Wii U?
Back to the games.
I posted some stuff about Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City yesterday.
Here's the game itself running:
Looking much better than I thought it would!
Not sure I'll get it, but at least it seems decent enough.
And since we're on Resident Evil, here's once again the other one, Resident Evil: Revelations:
Looking much better than, dare I say, the actual Resident Evil 5!
Why couldn't Capcom do that on home systems at first...
And YAY! Hunk is back to be a badass (and a pain in the ass)!
Speaking of Capcom, did you guys check the Devil May Cry reboot?
Too much angst...can't...handle...the angst...GYAAH!!
At least the "special effects" look nice on the street. *positivie comment of the day*
We'll be able to go from "classic Dante in a SF4-ysh visual to Emo-Dante at will!
Capcom made also available trailers for their upcoming fighting titles:
Launch trailer for the re-re-re-re-release of SF4, Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. (kiddin'! Calm down you SF-nerds!)
And...
The Street Fighter X Tekken Trailer!
Alright!
Though, as much of a SF I am, kinda more waiting for Namco's take on this...
It's kinda funny how Capcom made this video about the SF guys kickin' the heck outta the Tekken guys :P
Let's see something else.
Anarchy Reigns (Max Anarchy in Japan) is being developed for the Xbox 360 and PS3 by PlatinumGames and published by SEGA.
Can't wait for this "Mad World 2"!
Speaking of anarchy, here's the latest entry in this famous fun zombie series:
This Dead Rising 2 - Frank West edition is turning out quite nicely.
Dead Rising 2: Off The Record will be out later this year.
Here's something some people don't know about, have forgotten or may even not expect:
It's a new entry in the XCOM series (similar to the classic Fallout games) which has been reimagined as a 3rd person action western RPG (kinda like the modern recent Fallout entries). Shaping up quite nicely...and very scifi-ysh! Though I can imagine fans having quite a hard time with this evolution...
Here's SEGA latest rail shooter with zombies and monsters to shot down in a creepy setting...which is not an House of the Dead, almost but not really. Rise of Nightmares
After the fright, the bright!
Here's the new Kirby Wii, after checking out yesterday the DS one.
Fun, bright, colorful! A hit already!
And to continue on this theme, here's the latest trailer to Sonic Generations!
*let the haters hate!*
This looks amazing, gorgeous!
Woow!! *in his best Keanu Reeves voice once again*
Do you know the movie Top Gun?
Did you know that since the Nes days they've continued releasing new versions of the game, year after year??
Here's the latest one to date:
It's called Top Gun: Hard Lock and will be out early next year on the "next gen" systems.
Inversion by Saber Interactive. The guys who made the time travelling-gimmicky Time Shift a couple years back.
This time the gimmick's gravity!
And finally, let's close this topic with Q? Entertinment new Child of Eden.
Which is sort of a (spiritual) sequel to Sega's Rez on the Dreamcast:
A gorgeous innovative modern shooter. Playable with Kinect..or not! :)

Gamin' NEWS! random news
There's a teaser trailer for another new Kirby game already?
I didn't had time to even buy/play Epic Yarn! XD
Look right here:
It looks like a return to a more classical approach.
Which is good for thosestupid morons crybabies lame Kirby Epic Yarn-haters.
And also, since when did people start calling Sony's new upcoming handheld system the NGP?
I don't have a problem with what the system may or may not be able to do or what its future titles will be.
But you don't take a name which the acronym was already used for a (obscure) classic system.
Specially not one from SNK!!!
This above is the NEO GEO POCKET!!
Well, I personally have and prefer the Neo Geo Pocket Color, but that's another story...
Couldn't they call their system the "PSP2" or the NEWPSP or something that makes more sense than "Next Generation Portable"?? This sounds like one of those fake consoles that have a dozen Megadrive roms built in...
And finally, here's some pictures of Platinum games upcoming title, Anarchy Reigns.
Featuring no less than Jack from Mad World!
In COLORS!
Amazing! It's sort of disturbing at first sight to see Jack in colors :P
(I already miss Mad World original art direction...)
And a trailer to go along:

Gamin' NEWS! Platinum presents...Anarchy!!
One of my favorite current gaming studios just presented their brand new IP!
Platinum Games, an independent offshoot from Capcom that has been publishing all new original games under Sega's, just announced their new title.
It's gonna be called...well it hasn't really been clear nor constant depending the material they've shown.
It's either gonna be Max Anarchy or Anarchy Reigns. (my guess? MA will be the japanese title and AR the western name)
It's gonna be directed by Masaki Yamanaka, another ex-Capcom.
I really like how Platinum's been able to create and make up new games, unlike most Japanese developers that only rely on sequels nowadays. (and US game studios too..)
This so-called Anarchy (let's keep it simple) will be a brawler/beat 'em all with, I'm sure, some original twists to the gameplay formula like only Platinum is able to do.
They've been focusing on the online aspect of the game (since their last title, Vanquish, was criticized for not having one), but it will also have an offline campaign.
The game will offer a Tag Team mode amd a Battle Royal.
And also the return of a previous Platinum character, in the name of...
Which will look like this in this new game (in color)...
And now, let's make way for the teaser trailer:
The official website is already up here. This sounds pretty cool and things are looking great.
I love how people are already bashing this title, like they always do on the web (trolls!), like Bayonnetta or Vanquish in the past but will completly shut down once the thing is released.
Don't you have a bit of faith in Platinum by now?
This massively-multiplayer melee fighting action game will hit store on Xbox 360 and PS3 later this year.

Gamin' NEWS! - E3 continues -
Hey gang!
Here's some new trailers, footage and screens from stuff going on at E3~
First of all, some gameplay of that new nth Dragon Ball fighting game.
I did enjoy older 2D DB games..then played and followed some of the 3D ones (Final Bout, Budokai 1-3, Tenkaichi 1-3...), but since they make a new one every year...I kinda lost tracks of all the many DB games...
This new one is called Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2. From what I understand, since they arrived on the HD system, the Dragon Ball games had kinda a reboot, on both current series.
Dragon Ball Z Budokai was remade into Burst Limit (so back to the plot and character roster of Budokai 1) and the Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi Budokai series was also brought back as Raging Blast.
So if I wanna try a new DB with a correct roster and a well tuned gameplay, I should wait for Burst Limit 3 or Raging Blast 3 it seems...
Anyway, here's some gameplay, looking nice and correct, if a bit "plastic" like on the characters:
Now a bit of of Splatterhouse, my highly expected semi-remake semi-sequel to a classic beat 'em all series:
Some gameplay footage of Vanquish, Sega & Platinum Games new co-creation.
Looking like an epic mix of modern 3rd person shooters and P.N.03!
And now, some news about Sonic the hedgehog.
First some gameplay, the little we can see of Sonic Free Riders. The Xbox 360 exclusive.
Looks...messy. Not the graphics, they kinda look decent (hard to tell) but I'm not imagining myself playing that. Just imagine having to do those moves in front of youreyetoy Kinect.
This one will probably include some regular controller gameplay anyway, for those who'll want to try this game, let's be realistic. But the whole being the "Kinect control"...
*sigh*
I'll just play me some classic Saturn instead.
Here's some Sonic Colours gameplay now:
Well, forget about the autistic handicapped player here, it looks like it's the first time that guy played a videogame in his life.
The game looks pretty good and decent! Graphics are better than the Wii Sonic Unleashed!
This is turning into a pretty cool and enjoyable Sonic game! And isn't the main goal of games to be just that, entertainment?
Can't wait for this one~
Here's some footage of the Nintendo DS version, which really is in fact Sonic Rush 3 in disguise. And that will be good enough for me:
Moving on to Nintendo's own franchise now.
This new Metroid Other M sure is looking quite pretty, ain't it?
Seems to be a decent compromise of 1st view shooting action, not that far from the Metroid gamecube/wii trilogy, and 3rd person sidescrolling action like the original Metroid games!
Neat-o!
And now Portal 2, from the great studio Valve.
I wonder if this one will come out in 2011 or 2012, knowing Valve's legendary own relative time.
Seems to be more of the same ol'. Which is great since the original game was so original, addictive and smart!
This one does have a little horror vibe to it, with all the stuff and equipment abandoned.
And finally, for us fighting game fans, one of the coolest news about this E3, seems to be having finally some gameplay footage of Marvel Vs Capcom 3 Fate Of Two Worlds!
The available characters in the E3 build weren't that many. But at least we have a nice enough look at Deadpool's first fighting game!
From what Capcom said, it seems like:
- Returning characters will have their original gameplay and special attacks back
- Dormmamu will be this game's main enemy final boss. I guess he'll have a giant transformation for the very last round~
- The fastest and more nervous VS ever (more thant MvC2 and Tatsunoko Vs Capcom)
- Every reason I love the VS series a bit more than the classical SF one, team-ups, changes/strikers/team strikes, super combos, etc..
Here's a new complete trailer:
And some gameplay video, to see how fun this one's turning out:
Looks like Deadpool will genuinely be funny, like he used to in his original comic series and in Cable & Deadpool. Not "retard"-like funny, how he is under Daniel Way writing.

NEWS! Some gaming and movie stuff for this week 's end.
Hey guys and gals!
Here's some new news about some epic games, comic movies and something moar.
Sega & PlatinumGames new colaboration is one of my highly expected titles for this year.
I loved Mad World, my bro loved Bayonetta. What is this team of ex-Capcom employees working on now?
It's called Vanquish, it's aimed for the PS3 & Xbox 360, it's not your usual typical 3rd person shooter like Gears of War (no multiplayer!), it will be a very dynamic crazy stylish game not unlike Capcom's own P.N.03 and it's directed by Resident Evil and Viewtiful Joe director, Shinji Mikami.
Here's the first real trailer (not a teaser like the previous video):
Can't wait to see more about this one!
If you like action games and rpg-ysh/adventur-ous ones as well, you've probably already played or at least heard about Deus Ex 1 or 2, the archetypal model for this generation's Mass Effect or Fallout 3.
There's a brand new trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, coming later this year.
I hope the Square part of Eidos current owner and publisher, Square Enix, won't push this one out to soon nor influence too much it's development.
From this trailer, the game is looking pretty okay and very neat.
Then, it's only a CGi trailer, not much gameplay or real content in here.
Anyway, this looks pretty epic so far!
Now here's a very random one.
I've never been a fan of the concept of both the Guitar hero nor Rock Band games. In fact I haven't tried them ever. And won't ever need to. Period!
Sorry but it isn't my type of game. I would rather prefer a real game with real gameplay, play a real instrument (which I do) or if I really wanna play a music game, something more imaginative like Space Channel, Parappa the Rapper, Samba de Amigo or something alike...
Now, if you like adventure games, you probably know Tim Schafer. And you've probably tried his latest rockin' adventure/action game, Brutal Legend.
How does this all relate to the trailer I'm going to show you below?
The new Guitar Hero game is going to have an adventure mode.
That's right. They made so many Guitar Hero/Rock Band games that to keep people interested in mass buying them each time, they finally have to be creative. How did they work that out? By simply ripping off Brutal Legend! Here's the first announcement trailer to Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock.
I'm not interested in this one out, at all.
Just wanted to show you a trailer for this girst GH game to have a quest mode.
Kinda reminds me of when Mortal Kombat tried adding a Konquest mode, only it turned out fun, fresh and random, not like blatant rip off something else.
Onto the movie side now!
Finally a first look at some Green Lantern movie promo material!
Like the cover you could see at the top of this post for a magazine cover (check the first "movie" view of the Lanterns' ring!)
A teaser poster! The GL logo seems to be taken directly from the comics, which is nice.
The Lantern logo itself looks neat-o with the incorporated ring. Pretty decent picture I'd say, but a bit standard.
More promo. Kinda sad how Wonder Woman was taken out of the big 3 (DC's trinity of Supes, Bats and previously WW).
This will probably run inside some comic issues.
There's a lot of GL stuff alongside the vaste DC comic heroes. Like Golden Age Alan Scott, Guy Gardner, Sinestro and Star Sapphire!
Funny trivia, Aquaman, Flash and WW look like they're ready to have their movie next, being so close to the 3 current best seller ones with the movies around.
Moving on, still on DC Comics.
Geoff Johns, one of my favorite DC writers, currently own the fancy title of Chief Creative Office.
His direct input is taken into account for DC mutlimedia characters and he can make importan decisions on the current adaptations (cartoons, shows, movies, games..).
He just had an interview for Newsrama lately where he talked about the adaptations he would like to see next.
Not the real movies that are going to be made next, like the always mentioned Wonder Woman or the finally confirmed The Flash.
His favorite picks?
He said he would love to see the current Blue Beetle, Jaime Reyes, being made into a movie.
Or the team Suicide Squad.
And as for non DC prints? He suggested Wildstorm's Sleeper or Vertigo's 100 Bullets being made into movies or tv shows.
Take note that those are "would be" choices, his favorite picks.
He didn't confirm any of those would really be adapted.
I'm just glad the man will be around to help the translations stay true to their source materials.
Finally,
A new Shrek movie came out?! When?! Nobody told me!
It's not like I woulda miss the opportunities to know it, I've been out a lot but didn't see any posters around here, and I've seen a lot of movies but didn't see any trailer (they just keep re-playing that awful A-Team trailer here...).
Anyway, this Shrek Forever After is apparently out.
I liked, on some level, kinda, the previous 3 Shrek... And I'm absolutely not one to like CGi movies. I usually avoid those. (Yes. I prefer my animation 2D! Deal with it!)
If you live in another dimension or managed to avoid any info or marketing promo for this one before, here's a trailer for it:
Anyway, that's all for the day! Take care~
Here's some new news about some epic games, comic movies and something moar.
Warning! This is not live action Hal Jordan!! *phew! thank god!*

Shrek versus the Troll doll
Anyway, this Shrek Forever After is apparently out.
I liked, on some level, kinda, the previous 3 Shrek... And I'm absolutely not one to like CGi movies. I usually avoid those. (Yes. I prefer my animation 2D! Deal with it!)
If you live in another dimension or managed to avoid any info or marketing promo for this one before, here's a trailer for it:
Anyway, that's all for the day! Take care~
